George Michael's Faith
- I knew the title track from this album and I of course know Wham! but I have never heard any other George Michael music to my knowledge.
- I am surprised how much I really enjoyed this. Pop music at its best. "Father Figure" is a banger.

Jeff Buckley's Grace
- Before listening, I was only familiar with his cover of Hallelujah so I was expecting only a singer-songwriter vibe.
- I was pleasantly surprised! This album has great range of energy levels and variety. I can see myself returning to it.

The Smiths' The Smiths
- This is another band that I can't stand. Morrissey's vocals really get under my skin.
- I am guilty of not fully paying attention to this album because it just blurs all together for me. I like the instrumentation but that is about it.

The Clash's Sandinista!
-I love the Clash. I love Joe Strummer's vocals. The perfect band to listen to when you're an angsty kid and gets better as you age.
-36 tracks and over 2.5 hours long! "Washington Bullets" is still so topical now 45 years later. Great listen.

I said goodbye to the first cat was just mine and my husband's yesterday. My entire week has been focused on her and I haven't even thought once about listening to the album.
Goodbye Georgia.

Aretha Franklin's Lady Soul
- I was raised on Aretha. My mother had some compilation CD of hers and Chain of Fools was my absolute fav.
- Album is top-notch. Aretha at her best. Every person on this planet must hear this album at least once.

Neil Young's Harvest
- This is the first album where I know I have listened to it in its entirety previously.
- My mom had this CD in her truck when I was in high school so it was always playing when we ran errands. Such a banger and such a comfort to listen to.

I'm keeping the bat emoji. It brings joy.

Beastie Boys' Paul's Boutique
- We have our first duplicate artist in 52W52A.
- This album was just alright. I think my preference falls more to mid-late 90s Beastie Boys, and we can easily blame my age for that one. None of these songs were that memorable for me.

The Allman Brothers Band's At Fillmore East.
- My dad loves the Allman Brothers. I'm fairly certain he has seen them live at least twice.
- Not a big fan of live albums-- especially if not recorded from the same night. But I get why my dad loves them so much.

I am not claiming that these are any good but I love a fresh start and digital organization.

Manu Chao's Clandestino
- Never heard of this artist and/or album.
- This was a nice listen. I can see myself putting this on if I need something a little upbeat but not overwhelming. If you want to check out a single song, I would recommend "Bongo Bong".

Tame Impala's Lonerism
- I've heard of Tame Impala and knew they fell somewhere in the rock genre, but I wouldn't have been able to pick their song out of a lineup.
- I understand the hype. I can see why someone would love this completely. But it was just okay for me.

George Harrison's All Things Must Pass.
- My favorite Beatle. I love the Traveling Wilburys.
- This album is gonna be added to my frequent rotation. Fits such a perfect mood and so many good songs. Highly recommend, but I may be biased.

Death Cab for Cutie's Transatlanticism
- I love DCFC, but I actually love the Postal Service more. Overall, love their albums.
- I wish I could say that this album takes me back to high school but I only listened to it in its entirety within the past few years.

Stan Getz & Joao Gilberto's Getz/Gilberto
- Last year, I listened to this album because I really like Bossa Nova music. Plus, the Girl from Ipanema is such an ear worm.
- If I were a musician, I might have a larger appreciation for this album. Still good, though.

The Rolling Stones' Beggars Banquet
- Like the Beatles, The Stones are the Stones. Just a permanent fixture of 20th century music.
- The Blues/American Southern influence is STRONG in this one and so enjoyable. "Sympathy for the Devil" is just a great first track.

Carole King's Tapestry
- It's funny how some songs you know almost every word but you never think of who the artist is. If it's a 1970s banger sung by a woman, good chance that it's Carole King.
- Totally get why this album is ranked high on this list. Great listen.
