⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: 4.3
i read this one bc of the netflix movie. i really enjoyed this read even though it was written in third person and i liked seeing how it differed from the movie. looking forward to reading more books in this series

4. the housemaid’s wedding, a short story- freida mcfadden
⭐️⭐️⭐️: 3.2
this was a nice read to fill in the long gap between books 2 and 3. it was a cute, but a little suspenseful story about their wedding day. it was fast paced and a very quick read

3. the perfect marriage - jeneva rose
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: 4
i loved this book from the very beginning. it was quick and to the point. i did find it a little predictable but even though i figured it out, some parts still shocked me

2. people we meet on vacation - emily henry
⭐️⭐️⭐️: 3.5
this had me in the beginning, but it was slow so i got a little bored in the middle. once it picked up i couldn’t put it down. i love their relationship so much and it really makes me want what they have

I agree with you! The housemaid is great (minus the third one) but my favorite book of hers is never lie

What’s your fave?

Never lie is number one for me! It’s the first one I read. I love the housemaid books as well (besides the 3rd book). I haven’t read brain damage yet so I’ll have to check that one out

1. none of this is true - lisa jewell
⭐️⭐️⭐️: 3
this book took me awhile to read. it had me in the beginning, but i feel like it dragged on too long. i’m also not a fan of books written in the third person, which is probably why it took awhile to read. still a good read though
