Been here nearly a decade now and been struck at how different the county/city divide is. Things move at a glacial pace sometimes, but at least in the right direction.

Rough to think about how things are now, but there was an episode of Fear Factor where a helicopter did repeated flybys and Joe Rohan would say “Here comes the bird!” Every single time. My brother and I have been saying it anytime we see a helicopter for the past 15 years.

Awesome! I’ve started cooking mine in cream/milk to start as per a chefs recommendation, and holy crap are they good. Love the addition of Brie and peppers. We do ours with andouille and etouffe sauce.
