Middle school librarian.
I am so sad I rushed through it because I loved it so much now have to wait. I picked it up to see if it was middle grade appropriate (hard no). Reached out to Matt for a young readers edition.

PTA is a good bet to ask.

It was an amazing thing, when I had to complete redo my non fiction section that I could move books around and change call numbers and that no one would care. It increases circulation and makes it easier for students (why does DDC put the Salem Witch Trials in witchcraft and not US History)?

Do you have a cash box or 2? Use those, you don't really need their cash drawer, you just need a spot to hold the money.

But keep the snark. 😂

I am here alone too. Happy to discuss dungeon crawler Carl and will there ever be a middle grade book similar to this?

Donut is my hero. 😎

I am so sad I will not be able to read that for the first time ever again. I am now waiting for the next one as I finished the whole series this summer.

This year I flipped my display and did books you have read that have been challenged. And books on why books are banned and how you can step up to fight it. It has led to many conversations with my middle schoolers.

It’s behind a paywall, but judging by the headline woo hoo!!! This is most excellent news in a world where the news has been well, words I can’t type here.

Not for this years anymore. The state sends the application out for non profits to fill out. However, here is a screenshot of the fine print

It is not that easy. There is onerous paperwork to apply, it is severely limited. It is a reimbursement grant (we have been awarded it twice, and won't do it again because it's such a hassle). They don't just give you the money. Also, the fine print in this years grant application was disgusting.

I love the story of how Pocket Bear came to be. My son had one given to him by his grandmother when we moved states. I found it in his pants pocket many times when he was in 2nd grade. It even had a note with it saying this bear is to remind you of home and keep you from feeling lonely.

Even our train out of Philly was delayed by a few hours, but they let us change to an earlier one (and it was the Acela) for free because of the two hour delay! Good luck and safe travels!

Currently trying to come up with a way to clone myself so I can be in three sessions and a meet the author line at the same time. Looking forward to ALA!

Not sure on that part. My guess is Ayotte will make a big deal of signing that, sb33 and the parental rights one all at the same time. 😡

Coming soon to the state of NH. HB 324. Just passed out of senate and will be signed into law. It is time for our state to remove Live free and die as our motto.

I sat in on a PD about AI recently and hallucinated responses were barely touched on. I show my students examples of how AI gets it wrong more times than not and that they need to fact check Ai.

I wish you would figure out your back end video playback. Even though we change to Youtube, because it has Vimeo in the back end coding our district refuses to unblock the site. I have been fighting for three years now and it's still no :(

I think I could or maybe one of my awesome parent volunteers could recreate something close to this (if that’s okay)
