Tinkering with jury trials, the sticking plaster that doesn’t reach either side of the festering wound. 🙄
Just shows that a systemic problem - surprisingly, it seems for some - requires a systemic solution. Who knew?! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Could that be because honesty & principles are also unintentional these days?

Clue is in the pronoun possibly. His attitude towards women in general is likely highly informative here.

At last. Have to say, Labour haven’t helped themselves in UK or with EU partners (undermining their trust & faith) by painting their unrealistic red lines, effectively cajoling themselves into an awkward corner. At least they’re growing up. Progress towards no such thing as “a good Brexit deal”.

Chris Mason of course “missed” (I can’t decide whether he’s just not very bright, just plain malignant or both) the key point and focused on Reeves supposed misleading. 🙄

I agree. How can it be a “war” crime when no war has been declared as such? It is just plain and simple murder.

This video explains how antisocial neoliberal economics deliberately creates poverty — using fear and insecurity to keep wages low, rents high, and wealth flowing up to the richest. Redistribution in that case is not a luxury — it's justice.

OMG. Hilarious! USA is founded on theft of land & resources and genocide. Start with the First Nations people and their lands and work your way through US history at home … and abroad.
3 books to read:
Dunbar-Ortiz An Indigenous People’s History of the US
Klein The Shock Doctrine
Kinzer Overthrow

Sorry, what country are you referring to? I’m in HE in the UK, and I must say this *isn’t* my experience.

Yes, I’d wondered what exactly motivated such a guy with his record to do this. Does the answer lie in Afghanistan and the US withdrawal initiated by Trump’s deal with the Taliban? Or somewhere else. What a tragedy for Sarah Beckstrom and her family & friends. They didn’t deserve this.

Exactly! That defence of Labour I find totally weird; quite common here on Bluesky too. In extremes my taking issue is laughed off with “never heard of the Overton Window?” as if I’m some kind of naive idiot (that was also here). 🤷🏻‍♂️

Very good vid. It cannot be overstated that classic economic “growth” is unsustainable. The planet cannot support this growth. Even the notion “sustainable growth” is an oxymoron. We need new measures, not GDP - as was said, whose GDP? Certainly not mine!
