Today's misadventure: the motor in my standing desk has completely died, leaving me stuck at the absolute lowest height setting. I know I'm short, but come on.... a couple days of this and my knees will never be the same.

I was devastated to read the Vulture article about Gaiman’s horrific sexual assault and rapes - but I believed the brave women who came forward.
I’m delighted that one of the attorneys I most respect and admire is representing one of the victims in her civil suit
