As a fan of Psycho, I wrote about Ed Gein's horrific story (the inspiration for Norman Bates) in my book “Cannibalism: A Perfectly Natural History”. His story was certainly not "perfectly natural" but I used it as an example of how a reputed cannibal turned into a 50's media sensation.📚

Like many of my fellow authors who discovered that their books had been co-opted to train AI programs (I have 5 of them), I am currently dealing with this issue. I’m extremely thankful to Andrea Bartz (and the other plaintiffs) for taking the initiative to correct this matter. 🧪📚

A new study finds that eliminating fluoride in drinking water would cause 25.4 million more cavities for kids in the U.S. within the next five years and double to 53.8 million in 10 years.

The study comes as Utah and Florida have recently banned fluoride, following the lead of RFK Jr.
Rotten result? Kids' cavities would increase by millions if every state banned fluoride
Florida and Utah have already removed fluoridation from public water systems. What if the rest of the country follows?

In the air, birds like swallows. Also dragonflies but the loss of any species is a tragedy.
