@madmidweeker.bsky.social Mick’s contract here sent by his grandson complete with Don’s signature and address in Moortown!
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
Ah sorry mate, missed that. Good spot 👍🏼
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
On here? A few got it on twitter but he seems to be the only one here, unless I missed yours, in which case apologies 🙏🏼

My pal the footballer…Some more of Tony Levison’s Albert Johannesson photos. Tony is the little lad in the photos taken in the early 60s. His dad owned Project records on the same Harehills parade as Big Jack’s shop so got to know a lot of the players.

Indeed he did. Bit of info here from that Twitter site. Also a picture his grandson posted. You need to try it mate, much better than Bluesky for LUFC nostalgia! 😀😉

Thanks, that explains it. Still couldn’t get it to work or tilt even into landscape! I’ll try to access on a laptop

One person @eaststandupper
got this 👏🏻- The player with Billy is Knottingley born Mick Addy who played twice for the Leeds first team in the number 4 shirt in Sept 62. He then moved to Barnsley where he made 50 appearances. Must admit I’d never heard of him….

Must admit I’d never heard of him. No one on twitter has got it yet, Julian is the most likely to….
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
It is. The guy who sent me the photo confirmed it.
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
That’s a cracking photo. What year is that? An OzWhite one?
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
Played 2 games?…great spot 👏🏻👏🏻

Another previously unseen photo from Tony Levison’s collection - Billy and a team mate on straw-shifting duty in front of the Scratching Shed probably around 62/63. I’ll be very impressed if anyone gets the other lad- I had to ask Tony!

Same problem. This is all I see when I click on ‘view’
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
I tried copying the link into a different browser on the phone (Edge). The site opened ok but again same issue, nothing happens when clicking on view 🤔
billymorrisauthor.bsky.social
I’ve tried single click, double click, it highlights ‘view’ but then doesn’t open in a new window. I don’t have problems clicking through to browser from other BlueSky links. Can you message me the link on twitter, I’ll see if it opens from there..

Leeds away at Birmingham in 1951 in what appears to be an all blue kit. We didn’t start to play in all blue with gold trim until 1955 so could this be an early change strip maybe? Birmingham would be a strange place to use all blue if so!

Sorry mate, missed your reply. No, unfortunately still can’t get it to work. I can highlight a programme so ‘view’ is highlighted, click it, nothing happens. I’m on an iPhone, latest iOS, browser set to safari.

You can almost smell the Embassy Regal smoke, Brut 33 and William Youngers shite bitter on these classic 70s shots. Name that Leeds city centre boozer…

Interesting indoor footwear too from the days before ‘trainers’. Some of them look like they’re wearing football boots with the studs removed!

A couple of photos from Archie Gibson’s collection that his grandson sent me. Mid 50s #LUFC team training in the gym. I can see a young Jack Charlton at the back,George Meek, Eric Kerfoot ,but no John Charles. Was the gym in the old west stand I wonder?

Think Goodwin managed a young Trevor Francis?
