I'm making a big decision that I think will be healthy for me in the long run. My only goal in splatoon rn is to reach top 10 and once I do I'll probably never come back to the game. If I do it's to play with friends or causally but won't be as often as what I do now. My reasoning is that-
Went 3-2 in zones that gave me 93 points for beating the current #1 and #2 in zones twice. Probably would have been more points if I didn't lose twice but I'm not complaining. If anything I'm really proud of myself that I'm close to 2400 power this early into the season!

So getting top 10 this season was a no go due to me preparing for inventory at my work the 1st two months of the season leaving me with zero energy once I had time to play X rank. Wasn't until there was about 6 weeks left of this season ending I had time to grind X. Once the new season starts-

I'm really proud of my performance in splatoon on both dread and decav. I focused mainly on my mental most of the day and honestly it changed how I played and think since if I were to get upset over a misplay it would clog up how I played and my thought process. Small things making a big impact 👍

Was playing the zones rotation for series a couple of hours ago until I remembered weapon powers exist. Was not expecting to have a 2400+ power once the rotation ended 😭

There's a good chance I might return to playing backline again. For those who don't know back in splatoon 2 I 1 tricked splatterscope. Ever since I joined comp in splatoon 3 my role changed over the years. I don't think people are ready for my chargers but once I gain my skill again that's checkmate

I find it crazy that how I play dread in comp doesn't change how I play in soloq. I have a different playstyle depending on a weapon or comp I face. If anything it's a test of patience since I'll sometimes get out of the playstyle I'm supposed to use to win games haha. Improvement is showing a lot!!

Been having such a drive to grind splatoon and get better at the game overall as of late. 1 point away from plat in sendouq which is crazy to me since I don't really grind sendouq lol. Finna do my best this season to reach top 10 this season in X rank or at least reach 3000xp 🫡

Found 3 weapons I'm gonna dedicate myself too. Dread ain't gonna go away so there's the 1st weapon. 2nd is decav, taking the time to understand it and play it properly feels very rewarding will probably be my next weapon I 10 star. 3rd is carbon, it has a similar playstyle to how I play decav yipee!
