That being said, this is of course a process/mechanism/belief that is deeply embedded in society as a whole. So maybe "relief" is the wrong word here 😮‍💨🫠

One thing that relieves me about this post in particular is that it's only ever weirdo rightwing pundits who share (invent?) stories like that. I really think not that many people actually believe this explicitely (probably not even herself, given that rightwing grifting is her job)
