Finishing up Hard Rain Falling and The Hobbit. The first halves of both books were a struggle. Both have been more engaging as I pass their respective midpoints.

Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption. I was amazed how many of the classic dialogue in the movie was directly from the book. I followed up by starting from the beginning (Carrie and Salem’s Lot).

It’s dry and oak forward for my taste. It’s good but as with most whiskey, it’s not worth secondary price.

Nice pour and every bourbon lover should try it if they can find it. I enjoyed it more than Lot B when I tried them head to head back in 2018. Cheers!
