On this date in 1972, Genesis released the album that would cement their position as prog rock titans: Foxtrot. Inspiring musicians and fans to this day. Which is your favorite track, and why is it Supper's Ready?

The Professor would have been 73 today. Thankfully, his legacy will live on forever.

It's difficult think of a more influential guitarist that the iconic Allan Holdsworth. He was the ultimate guitarist's guitarist, despite never being the household name that Eddie Van Halen or Hendrix were. Remembering him today on what would have been his 79th birthday. RIP Allan.

It's a very special day in a couple ways.
First, it is the 72nd birthday of the iconic Geddy Lee! Happy Birthday to Geddy!
Second, on this date in 1974, probably his most impactful birthday present was the addition of Neil Peart to Rush!
This is truly a good day!

It's Round 2 for Envy of None, Alex Lifeson's post-Rush band. Do they hit a sophomore slump, or do they further evolve the industrial pop of the first album into something even cooler? Time to find out!

Saga like this date so much, they released TWO albums on it! Their self-titled debut arrived in 1977 and Marathon dropped in 2003. My brain just melted as I realized that we're swiftly approaching their 50th anniversary! 🤯

I have to say, Dream Theater kicked some serious ass last night in Philly, and the highlight was seeing Mike Portnoy back behind the kit. Welcome home, Mike!
