I say that not having caught up with TGS in years but they‘ve recently reached Confrontation which is crazy and cool and good so maybe it‘s nearing the end. What a journey!

Yup, bought a new one and used etcher just in case and its working as intended now

I didnt exactly know where the problem was so i bought a new reader and did a completely manual setup and hey look at that i am in the system!

The reader was bought new but it arrived completely loose in the package so i think it mightve been damaged from shipping. Didn‘t know readers could possibly kill SD cards, all I did was overwrite a card with the pi imager

i can only hope the pi is fine and its just the card and try again with different hardware
