Yeah so one of the things you notice about looking through Wehrmacht unit histories is that they'll be immaculate apart from having missing entries on dates that coincide with massacres in their AOR

ICE says video from inside the facility "between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed" and can't be produced in discovery.

I think the most charitable interpretation for the NYT is they got absolutely played. Epstein took their financial reporter down to Little St. James and thoroughly co-opted him over the years. And by the time editorial realized (far too late), they were too embarrassed to want to focus on Epstein.

I will add the caveat that part of the trick here is finding spaces that do liberatory work and are run by liberatory people-- showing up to a church run by some patriarchal pastor who thinks God assigned servitude to women is likely not going to feed your soul.

Like, Trump tried for an armed insurrection that got white nationalists with guns in the capitol building where they were looking for law makers, and this is all documented. So that's like open and shut treason and absolutely nothing happened to him. And they let him run for president. Again.
