Little Flauta had his first meal since coming out of brumation today!!! I sure missed him. He was down for 6 months 😴

Well the dang latch on baby Dirt's exoterra enclosure broke and he made a run for it. Found the little rascal under the bed and he was PISSED that I didn't leave him there

Little Charlie is finally shedding out. He arrived here 2 weeks ago and was dull then in pre-shed. It doesn't normally take adult skinks this long to shed but the poor fella is underweight and undernourished so it took a bit longer. He's eating like a champ tho so should be fixed up in no time 🥰🦎

I think he's a Merauke! I'm working with Halmaheras and have a few of them. Their colouring is very different. The first pic is of my Merauke, Cannoli. They're very variable in colour but all fairly large. Second pic is Eddie, one of my Halmaheras. They can be yellow or grey but most are red/brown

I saw so many alligators today 🤩🐊🦎

I'm visiting family in Daytona and visited this lovely aquarium today that had lots of reptiles and amphibians. The enclosures were all beautiful, complex, and more than adequately sized, which was very refreshing to see. Here's a few pics of some of the lil sweethearts I saw!

This is Russet! He's a Tanimbar locality Blue Tongue Skink and this is the best photo I've ever gotten of him because he usually bolts. Joined the fam late last year and is still settling in but finally starting to chill out a tiny bit!! He's my smallest adult skink #tiliquascincoideschimaera
Foreground is some fake plants with green leaves and a little bit of real spider plant and poking out. Behind the plants, a long cork bark with a small blue tongue skink laying on top. His body is striped with dark and light browns, with a somewhat yellow chin. He's laying lengthwide across the log and squinting a little at the camera.
