ePedal is very good. Haven’t tried pro-pilot yet.

No point denying it, I’m a bit of a Nissan Leaf fanboy. I’ve driven my 1st generation Leaf over 80,000 miles and it’s never had anything resembling a mechanical problem. Incredibly reliable. If this new version is similar, it’s a very long-term vehicle.

I agree they have taken their time coming up with something genuinely new and impressive, but I do think they have done that with this Leaf.

I’d gently suggest that in a land of higher bonnets, the new Leaf bonnet is pretty low, but I know what you’re saying. I’m in agreement with your basic point.

I’ve now driven the new Nissan Leaf 100 km and apart from everything else, I never once glanced or even thought about ‘remaining range.’ This car can cover 300 miles/480km more than the gen 1 Leaf.

Today I’m driving the new Nissan Leaf. In Denmark. I was here 14 years ago to drive the 1st gen Leaf. This one goes a bit further.

I caught up with Andy Palmer recently.
His experience at Nissan (he was the power behind the launch of the original Nissan Leaf) and Aston Martin is enormous. Now he's developing batteries and defending EV's and explains how important this is, calmly and clearly

Boom. Excellent response sir!

I agree. We have loads of birds at home. Never seen one of these.
bobbyllew.bsky.social
Thank you to everyone who replied. I’d never seen a Jay up this close before, beautiful bird! I had to move super slow to pick up my phone and take the picture. The building is on a square with many large trees.

Just had this beauty pecking at a window in central London. Can anyone identify it?
A large bird with a bright blue flash on its wing.

This episode of Everything Electric Tech is about exactly what it says on the label. With renewable energy we all really can own the means of production.

Imagine having someone in government who’s prepared to confront the lies and simplistic nonsense the fossil lobby spew out every day.

It's important to call this stuff out.

I'm with you all the way on this, however I thought, maybe by mistake, it made the oil industry look utterly corrupt, broken on its last legs and it portrayed the people who run the tatty dated companies look like inept crooks.

Found Spectator article written by this chap. Spouting on about how no one wants electric cars, especially in China.
When you read this tripe, but you have been to China this year, as I have, you know he's dropping these 'opinions' out of his backside. SO many EVs on the roads in China, it's insane

Recording podcast with Dr Andy Palmer this morning. He was COO of Nissan. He went on to be CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda. He is now very involved in the electrification of transport in the UK and knows a thing or two about electric vehicles, charging and many related topics.
Got any questions for him?

I've occassionally been criticised for my supposed 'slapdash' reviews of new electric cars, many of those negative comments include terms like 'you should stick to doing the news episdes.' So, for those particular gentlemen.....
