Brilliiant stuff. Did people wince at the price? I remember paying (I think) £20 to see REM at Manchester Arena in 1999, and having a slight attack of the vapours...

Yes! The next-door neighbours said they'd been visited by a half-man-half-sheep creature, and Dr Anne Ross - who took the heads away to examine them - said a werewolf then came to her house. It's such a bizarre story. I wrote about it here...

They're amazing live. Caught them at the 1980s all-dayer in Albert Park in 2023 and were so knocked out we bought tickets for Newcastle City Hall last year. Stunning.
