Just been to the dentist for repair to a tooth that was falling to bits. The dentist tells me that I have an even displacement which, apparently, is a good thing. I may be old, fat and ugly, but - hey - when it comes to displacements, nobody's is more even than mine 😊

Needed to make a remotely-triggered, wireless strobe lighting setup that would fit underneath an umbrella and light the subject's face from above, as evenly as possible. Works fine. Trouble is, it weighs a ton!

Striding keenly up the hill for my daily exercise, I was overcome by what physiologists call "feeling knackered". So I sat down and rested my non-military asset on a seat near the "Hibiscus Rising" sculpture near Meadow Lane #Leeds.

Smashed Avocado and scrambled egg on lightly-toasted buttered seeded sourdough bread. Served with baby plum tomatoes and a glass of fresh orange juice.

Looks like the mat of duckweed at Clarence Dock #Leeds has reached its summer peak. I guess it'll start to die back soon. This year it's grown so fast that parts of it folded-back on itself.

I've been looking online for recipes for soups, stews and other hot meals that can't be made or consumed midweek. There don't seem to be any. And as for food products that contain unnatural fibre - none of those either! 🤭
