The cap on social security is a big issue as well. Raising or eliminating that cap with make the social security program solvent for a very long time

2) ELIMINATE THE CAP ON CONTRIBUTIONS. When everyone in other programs was covered by Medicare, ACA, CHIPS, MEDICAID could all be discontinued and their budgets shifted to Medicare.
A small increase in Medicare Tax would still be a bargain.
