They need to change or repeal whatever law or rule allows CBP to stop anyone within 100 miles of an international boarder or seacoast. CBP can set up checkpoints almost anywhere they want in small states like NH and VT. They often work with state police who also hope to catch wanted people.

Couldn’t the grand jury have filed charges on Pirro for wasting the court’s time by bringing a frivolous case to them? Aren’t juries supposed to be very powerful?

The most important result from this election cycle was that Alderman at Large Joe Kelly Levasseur was defeated. He’s a total Trump/MAGA supporter who lost mostly due to his inconsistent treatment of home businesses — the pickle gate controversy. We’ll take this as a win for democracy.

Republican Jay Ruais was the incumbent mayor of Manchester, NH. He one his 2nd term 2-year term. Typically mayors get 2 terms at least. He’s a decent guy. He got in mostly due to the homelessness issue, which he’s had limited success dealing with.
