I’ve been lovingly nagging Rhasan for 3 weeks to put the reflective stakes along the road to make it easy to drive on our road in snow before the ground froze and it wouldn’t be possible anymore. He finally did it yesterday and we woke up to snow proving people should listen to me.

My tattoo artist posted my whole tattoo so I’ll share it here too. I mostly cropped out my chest, it’s VERY hard to take a good photo of your sternum down to your belly button but I love the start of this. It’s getting radiation afflicted bugs and dead leaves on my right side.

Yesterday I actually got dressed and felt cute and then someone in a truck hit my car because he didn’t look both ways and no one got to see my outfit and now my car has a big dent I need to deal with.

I spent all afternoon caramelizing onions so I could make french onion soup rolls, which are an enriched dough with onion and thyme, a thyme spread, caramelized onions, and gruyère. Then I made some french onion soup because I’d already been caramelizing onions for hours so obviously I made extra.

I finished the rest of my seafood tower to go with my oysters and I'm so proud of them and also hope they survive my drive across the state.
