I LOVE this year’s tickets for the school play, Animal Farm. They added a tassel to each one so it can be used as a book mark.

December 3rd was International Day of People with Disabilities. We displayed a selection of fiction and nonfiction for the last two weeks. Everyone has the right to see portrayals of characters like themselves in their school library’s book collection.

Snow has finally arrived in Toronto! Not much, just enough to make it feel like winter. What’s your favourite snow-themed book? My students said Misery by Stephen King & The Terror by Dan Simmons. Not quite warm & cozy reads!
