I appreciated how she stressed that empathy and caring are very good things, and how it's okay to need more help right now as someone who cares deeply about justice & humanity.

And then she approved my dose increase, also stressing there's no shame in needing more help. I'm so grateful for her.

My favourite line from this movie is actually "What is a revolution without dancing?" because *gestures to everything* (and also because when we were in the theatre, @boughanfire.bsky.social leaned over and whispered "So it's a dance...dance??? revolution?"), but there are a lot of really good ones.

...full disclosure, I've watched 2 episodes, it's an entertaining distraction made even more entertaining by me yelling helpful things at the screen like "WHY DON'T YOU JUST TEXT HIM" when a person in danger is in a club so they can't hear the cops on the phone & the cops are like "o no!? what do?!"

Maybe I should check with my Australian friends first and see if this is a rolling timezone thing.

My absolute FAVORITE moment was when The Grinch ran by holding a small Christmas tree, shouting "I can explain! I CAN EXPLAIN!!", chased by a full fursuit Chase from Paw Patrol (the police dog, for those not in the know). 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Local cosplay legend, a senior citizen who attends every con I've ever vended at in Ontario, was in attendance in his signature Captain Picard with Kermit the Frog outfit.

The man selling swords at the booth next to me gave everyone An Experience. He let them hold the swords, told them about the make, told stories about the weapon and how the characters used them. He looked like a greasy used car salesman, slicked hair & shoe spurs.

Nothing but respect for him!!

Someone cosplaying Canadian icon Red Green, with the perfect beard. Glorious.

An older gent dressed like Pigskin Pete, the mascot of the Canadian football team The Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and his adult daughter (I assume) dressed in a tiger onesie.
