Has anyone seen the Senator for Twitter, Babet, at estimates at all yet?

I really hope all these people in Senate Estimates who are so gravely concerned with the returning "ISIS Brides" have the same level of concern about the returning members of the IDF who have been killing women & children for the past two years

Does anyone know when the concepts of Trump's health plan will be fully developed and costed?

Why doesn't anyone ask him or his administration about this anymore?

If you wish to complain about NACC Commissioner Paul Brereton, and what looks like (another) huge conflict of interest, you can at the NACC Inspector’s website. You can even complain anonymously if you wish. naccinspector.gov.au/make-complaint

Int. law expert Chris Sidoti says after ICJ ordered nations to act to prevent Israel’s genocide, govt should’ve conducted review to identify anything that could be aiding Israel
“There should have been a review…If it exists, make it public. If it doesn’t exist, do it!”💥 #NPC

Would need to know if the Minister gave approval for the work, which leads to some bigger questions.

If they did, why didn't they correct Brereton's estimate answer, stating that he wasn't doing outside work?

If they didn't, will they begin disciplinary action. A referral to the NACC investigator

If he has been paid for his work as an Assistant IG wouldn't that mean he has broken the rules of his employment as the NACC Chair?

If he did get paid, would that mean that Minister Rowland approved of it?

Nope, it was getting into the hands of the people who gave enough money to Donnie Diapers

Flickr is still a thing?

And they themselves have had to be pulled into line.

So we've spent all that money and the only people to be punished have been the NACC itself.

It might be time to alter the legislation to remove the ability for the regulatory bodies to negotiate settlements so that they have to enact the punishments that parliament has set, so that there are actual deterrents for this type of behaviour.

ANZ made what $15B over this period for a $240m fine

I wonder, did @barbarapocock.bsky.social ask as a follow-up, "What type of behaviour would an institution need to conduct for ASIC to actually use the full punishment that parliament has given to them to punish these institutions?"

ASIC Chair explains why Australian CEOs continually make decisions that see the public being ripped off time and again.

They never face any type of consequence for decisions that hurt the wider public because they know the watchdog, who is meant to punish them, doesn't want to rock the boat.
boxhead31.bsky.social
Australian CEOs know they can behave in egregious manners because ASIC will never hold them personally accountable.

Until the decision makers in the boardrooms face serious punitive actions, they'll continue to make decisions that hurt the wider public cause profit is king
