I do have some life "things" that keep me from moving - again I work remotely so I can live most anywhere...

But Mom is here as are a lot of friends, I've got my Sisterhood #palmspringssisters and other activities that keep me here.

I live in a place I like, I can afford my home (no roomies), I work remote so my options are pretty open (with some exceptions), I have family and friends nearby, and I feel moderately safe.

But I'm near the San Andreas fault, near mountains that can burn, and I'm in the US with scary politics.
