Just to be clear when people call RFK Jr. a "sex goblin" I assume we all mean he's like those CGI monstrosities from "The Hobbit" and not the sexy sexy guy from "The Labyrinth."

If anyone has doubts about director Brad Bird's leanings on libertarianism/objectivism I suggest they watch "Tomorrowland," another (sadly much worse) Bird movie about how greatness is stifled by the forces of mediocrity. The end credits even look like they were swiped from an Ayn Rand cover.

I'd heard this detail before but even so this part of the article is so nuts. Imagine being a serial sex criminal with such a big ego that you invite a muckracking writer to your home, show him photographic evidence of your sex crimes against minors, then ASK him to write about you.

I generally enjoy Wired but you gotta admit the magazine's fawning coverage of Elon Musk over the years was a big part of building up the "tech genius" mythology surrounding the guy.

Disney kinda sorta did build their own version of that, little waddling robots that walk around the Star Wars part of Disneyland. I think they really wasted an opportunity by not naming them HU-E, DU-E and LU-E.
