I always really loved that edition, but couldn’t justify it lol. I kinda stay away from special edition consoles now, but here are some of my favorites in my collection!

I replaced my switch 1 battery on my own a while ago (it got really puffy), definitely do not recommend it lol

I don’t think bsky compression will let it be visible, but it’s on the black rim under the top screen. Either way this 3ds is my original n3ds xl, I’ve had to replace the button pads underneath the face buttons with replacement parts (not as good unfortunately) as I wore out the a button lol

I gotta say, I do like the red Ridley though, the implication that Samus is almost done with her story because Ridley is at low health is pretty cool attention to detail for those who have played that far (though the player should really have the gravity suit at this point lol)

lol I actually just picked up the SGB2! I was so disappointed in the SGB and its poor speed control, so this was always a desire of mine.

I’m such a big multitasker that if I’m gunna be at my desk anyways, I might as well just play docked, but I did grab a lite a while back, but don’t really find myself playing it… when I go to work I bring a N3DS and that gets me through the down time!

Having spent *many* hours looking into + researching the topic, I can say I never found them until I traded records with a save file that already had them (note im on Sapphire table!)
