Oh, we're just talking about the biggest podcasts, so surely we should just be talking about the biggest game releases, too?

Your post would make sense if you were talking about the industry as a whole, but podcasts have the lowest possible bars to entry and there are no meaningful ways to gatekeep two or three people with a yeti mic and an internet connection. What are you talking about?

Walls and basic troops would probably be a priority in a world of monsters and walls are expensive; a decent number of kings robbed their bank or church or used war spoils to get them built, often needing to import labour to get that done. So probably it’d be a nation that was already working.

Although magic would surely help this figure, in the real world countries needed something like 9:1 farmers to all other vocations to function in that period. Farmchildren would likely be occupied (though maybe state-sponsored magic orphanages is the answer?)

Barring more unconventional settings a medieval-style society will probably have a lot of illiteracy and bookmaking will be expensive/possibly church-restricted; things that at least in older editions would have restricted magic-user numbers.

Can’t answer for clerics/druids though.

Hey, I paid you 139 days ago for a spaceship commission that you said would be done July eleventh. I know something happened to your hand, but I have messaged you across three social media platforms for months with no response and I see you posting new stuff. Please respond.

Thank you and everyone involved for the excellent work, it's fantastic (and the enemy's reaction is pretty great as well)!
