The kids in my neighborhood are, by and large, jerks. I’ll be giving out KitKats exclusively this Halloween. That’ll show em.

Awesome. Awesome.
When the office notified me that someone from Finnish public broadcasting wanted to interview me, I was like, "What? Why?!" I was so confused. 😂

Ultimately, it was a pleasure and absolute honor to discuss my "Littoral Commander: Baltic" with YLE. 🎲 💥 🗺️
Finnish public broadcaster YLE interviewed @sebastianbae.bsky.social about his wargame Littoral Commander: The Baltic.

The word for the day, boys and girls, is “kompromat.” Can you say “kompromat?” I knew you could.

Hours ago, I realized that the continued existence of today was unwelcome. I look forward to tomorrow doing better.

One thing I have learned in reading article submissions in the past couple of years is that Ukraine and the Houthis mean whatever you want them to mean. They show drones are the future and that Force Design can work. They show that drones suck and there are limitations to shoot-and-scoot missiles

If it's a "murder of crows" and a "murmuration of starlings," I'd like to propose a "Woofer of Growlers"

Maybe just this year we could skip the song commemorating a Russian military victory?

If you want evidence we are living in a computer simulation, it helps to think of the Trump administration as the Final Boss.

This is so hilariously bad. The plane is so much bigger than the people, and the people are all giants compared to the nearby neighborhood. This plane is bigger than the Spruce Goose. Also let's talk about the fact that the plane landed in that condition—and no ejection!

Somebody needs to explain to the former Fox News host that sending troops into a US city is not “foreign policy.”

Eisenhower thought he was sending 80% of these men to their deaths yet insisted on going to look them in the eye and wish them luck

My list of dumbest things the US Navy has done since 1980:
1) Retire the newer FFG-7s early, well before their lives were over
2) Retire the Hoover (S-3 Viking)
3) Retire then sink the Sprucans.
Today, I am focused on #2. www.usni.org/magazines/pr...
Viking Valhalla: The Final Days of the S-3 Viking
The Navy's S-3 Viking was retired from the fleet by 2009, but flew several more years as part of the VX-30 Bloodhounds at Naval Test Wing Pacific.

I can assure you with absolute certainty that no ship, Mexican or otherwise, has collided with the Brooklyn Bridge. Fake news.

Oh, ALlided you say? Well, yes. That did happen.

@keithfitzgerald.bsky.social I have met the acting CO of the Truman (Quincy's own Chowdah Hill, Tufts '96) and we know lots of people in common. There's not a more upstanding guy in the Navy. The conspiracy thing you reposted ... nope. Just nope.
