Now Watching: Silent Night Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out

A blind woman has a psychic connection with a long comatose Ricky who is awakened after being shot multiple times in the previous film. So I’ve seen this movie probably a half dozen times. It’s by far the worst film in the series.

Now Watching: Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2

Ricky recounts the events of the first film while adding his own chapter to the story. It’s time for one of the most festive moments of the entire year! Garbage Day! I like the original but I love part 2. It’s like two movies for the price of one.

Now Watching: Whoever Slew Auntie Roo

A deranged widow becomes obsessed with an orphan who resembles her dead daughter. A mix of the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale and psycho biddy movie, this is a fun Christmas comedy with a dark sense of humor.

Now Watching: Anna And The Apocalypse

Anna and her friends must fight to survive when her small town is threatened by a zombie apocalypse at Christmas time. I don’t watch movies out of season so I feel like it’s important to start the holidays out right.

Now Watching: Alex Vs ARod

From talented kid to legitimate superstar to one of the most polarizing sports figures of all time, Alex Rodriguez frankly discusses it all. It’s hard to feel sorry for Rodriguez about anything he went thru but it also feels like he has changed and grown as a person.

Now Watching: Spaceballs

A starship pilot and his trusty side kick get caught up in a plot to rescue a princess from the clutches of the dastardly Spaceballs and save her homeworld. I hadn’t seen this in ages but the algorithm must have known I just watched a different John Candy movie.

Now Watching: Planes, Trains And Automobiles

An advertising executive struggles to make it home for Thanksgiving in Chicago with a well meaning but loutish shower curtain ring salesman in tow. Funny and charming, this is about as good as it gets for Thanksgiving movies.
November 24, 2025 at 3:27 AM
Now Watching: The Last Thanksgiving

A family of cannibals attack a restaurant that is open on Thanksgiving. Fast paced and dumb, this isn’t great but it is over quick. Ironically, with the lack of Thanksgiving horror movies, this is still one of the better ones. Go figure.

A notorious serial killer escapes his asylum on Halloween night and unleashes his scarecrow masked bloodbath on 1980s Seattle. Super duper dumb, this is a very fast paced slasher that emulates Terrifier.
November 22, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Now Watching: Predator: Badlands

The black sheep of a clan attempts to win his family’s approval by slaying a seemingly unstoppable monster. Fast paced and wildly entertaining, having the Predator as the protagonist brings a different perspective to a still evolving sandbox.

A boardinghouse is reopened years after a series of gruesome murders occurred only to find a new series of violent deaths taking place. I’ll be honest, I have no fucking idea what is going on here. A supernatural slasher maybe?

Now Watching: Gamera Vs Viras

A group of alien invaders threaten the earth by using Gamera’s love of children as a way to control the monster. It takes a minute to get going but it’s entertaining in the same absurd way all of the Gamera movies are.

Now Watching: FantastiCozzi

A science fiction obsessed director ends up carving out a unique career for himself in Italy. I love Luigi Cozzi and all his silly movies. I think he never got the credit he deserved for all the entertaining rip offs he made.

An American who interrupted a serial killer during an attempted murder becomes a target of the murderer as he tries to uncover their identity. A giallo classic, this wasn’t Argento greatest heights but it’s awfully satisfying.
November 10, 2025 at 1:39 AM
Now Watching: Inferno Rosso: Joe D’Amato On The Road Of Excess

An in depth look at the producer, writer and director’s life and work thru the eyes of his friends and family. Aristide Massaccesi and his work often gets thrown in the dumpster and it’s completely unfair.
