Had Trump held off on tarrifs and not said bat crazy shit about Canada until after its elections things could have looked alot different. The polls were not looking good. Should be thanking Trump for that screw up at least. The rest, no.

Yeah, didn't hurt that we were one of the few relevant powers who's infrastructure and resources hadn't been bombed to ashes in WWII.

Easy to say. But just look at the public threats to Mark Kelly from government officials. I can only imagine the behind the scenes threats made to state representatives and their families from both sanctiand / non sanctioned entities.

Nearly all small contractors use Home depot for parts because of convenience. If lines are long to buy or return items they will get pissed and let Home Depot know. Time is money. It's a huge part of their business.
