Web standards are stable. Frameworks, especially frameworks centered in transpiled code, absolutely are not. Maintenance cost is much higher for worse performance and accessibility. Just facts.

The frustrating thing is these custom controls could just be regular HTML inputs, styled for the UI, and everything would work perfectly. Focusable, operable, announced correctly.

it had become a very bad place. on so many levels. genuinely concerning for mental health. super toxic. tonnes of misinformation. it's extremely unhealthy.
