Genuinely think you could get Trump to back DC and PR statehood by offering him a cut of the all the new flags we'd have to make.
Statehood for D.C. is an ethical obligation at this point, required to protect the rights of our residents to govern ourselves against such out-of-state troops being sent to patrol our city.

I think that the double-tap leak came from inside the military shows that they failed at regime consolidation. It will still be very, very ugly for a long time, but we are probably past the most immediate threat of dictatorship.
Trump has been trying to go full dictator this entire time, if he could just do it he already would have. His public support plummeting isn’t going to make the task easier

Actually, my most precious commodity is a Golden Falcon encrusted from beak to claw with rarest jewels, given by the Knights Templar of Malta as tribute to the King of Spain. But attention is a close second.
The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.

What drives me crazy is that even in the most blinkered definition of "canceling culture" that's not what happened! It wasn't for anything he said! He forced women to watch him masturbate and his fans (people like me) stopped being fans.

I'm in northern Illinois near the Wisconsin border with very low light pollution and a wide open view of the northern sky, and haven't seen aurora one. I consider all of this a hoax and refuse to look into this any more or alter my behavior.
