The Premier called him and @carlabecksk.bsky.social liars and demanded an apology, then stood up from his press conference and drove to the tee boxes. I think it’s clear who the liar is.

Everyone in Saskatchewan deserves to know what services are out there and to feel supported.

Brent Blakley and I stopped by Southwest Crisis Services and the Southwest Newcomer Welcome Centre on our tour yesterday. We were inspired by the incredible work being done to support women leaving unsafe situations and to help newcomers find jobs, community, and resources.

We are demanding the Saskatchewan Party come forward with an immediate plan to better respond to this crisis. There can be no further delay. No further failure. It’s time to show some basic human decency.

Yesterday, the provincial Ombudsman committed to a formal investigation into the Sask. Party’s failure to provide wildfire evacuees with shelter, food and critical information and issued 14 calls to action to immediately improve the situation for so many forced from their homes.

It was an honour to celebrate Nagar Kirtan with my colleagues and more than 10,000 community members in Saskatoon on Sunday.
