If one news reporter could look deeper maybe that so-called love fest between Trump and Mamdani would look different. Trump uses such meetings to charm and disarm. It's a way of gaining both the confidence of the other and to uncover the vanity weak spots to exploit.

Now that the press has exited the Pentagon, the Administration has manipulated exactly what it wanted: no coverage. A lose, lose choice presented to the press. Of course, the press could file a class action lawsuit under the First Amendment. I'm sure the corrupt SCOTUS awaits it.
