#GameShowWednesday The original $10,000 Pyramid, hosted by Dick Clark, debuted in 1973. Clark hosted the daytime version from 1973 to 1980 (increasing its top prize to $20,000 in 1976) and The $25,000 Pyramid from 1982 to 1988. The $100,000 Pyramid debuted in 2016 with Michael Strahan as host.

#QSLfriday The Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company established its second broadcasting station, WBZ, in Boston in 1921. WBZ ended its affiliation with NBC Radio in 1956 and adopted a music programming format with local disc jockeys, eventually transitioning to a full-time top 40 format.

The studios, transmitter, and tower were located near the Gainesville Regional Airport, northeast of town. WGGG sent this card to a DXer in Dubuque, Iowa.

#GameShowWednesday "Truth or Consequences" was a game show hosted on radio by Ralph Edwards (1940–57) and later on television by Bob Barker (1956–75). The premise of the show mixed the original quiz element of game shows with wacky stunts. (Once the host got the consequence instead, bottom photo).
