Riley, 26, he/him. Eternally curious and filling my brain with the things I like. PFP by @repoghost.bsky.social!
Oh and as a sidenote too why would I trust the apology of someone whose engagement of the community doesn’t even feel genuine? They’ve already proven to be shallow and their apology felt just as shallow as their other actions

(All this to say this is mostly my take on Kael because like idk much about them but their engagement with the community has felt very “clout farm” which is a term I also dislike but idk how else to describe it)

It goes to show too like so many “popufurs” (I hate that term) arent even in it for the love of the game. To them furry is an alternative aesthetic movement rather than a diverse community made up of art and culture. They see it as nothing deeper than “I look cool in this fursuit”

Have you heard of the tabletop game Mausritter? It’s like a dnd adventure type game except you play as little mice. I’ve been playing it with some friends and it’s very cute and charming

I feel this so hard. I always end up listening to the same artists because “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” but there’s so much music to discover!!! I’m just soooo picky.

(Btw I am queer and disabled/chronically ill so like. I get it. I’m very privileged that I can function and have a regular job despite my condition and I don’t take that for granted at all)

I think it’s tricky because a lot of us are queer and disabled and a lot of regular jobs aren’t accessible so being able to work from home making art is really tempting. But you still have to treat it like a business at the end of the day

It’s always some bullshit with me tbh

Hard agree. I play games to have fun, not pick apart every single aspect about them. That ruins it for me lmao. Anyways I will for sure! I’m definitely liking it so far

Yeah and like while I never played the original so I have no frame of reference, I think it’s unfair to expect a sequel that came out twenty years later to be remotely the same. But iirc people said the same about Baldur’s Gate 3 as well, so I’m not surprised

I was hesitant because it’s development cycle was so chaotic and I don’t think ttrpg’s translate the best into single player games (I had this problem with bg3 when I played it) so I’m just pleasantly surprised I guess
