I'm officially being trolled by the ghost of @grayescale.bsky.social . I put a new disc in from their music sleeves, without looking for the adventure, and was blessed with this. Someone is dragging me into the holiday season. Well played.

It’s not a great deal if you don’t need it. And especially this year, others really need support. So for all of us who have enough, let’s refuse to get sucked into the holiday shopping frenzy and share instead of shop. We don’t need more stuff, we need communities where all our neighbors are safe.

Woke up thinking about Onibaba (1964).

What a film.
Two women survive in warring feudal Japan by tricking and murdering samurai, and stealing their belongings.
But when someone gets between the two women, the eldest tells of an evil curse that may be on them both...
Machete's way up for this one.🔪🔪

How to keep from overthinking next book:

Roll dice, let dice decide.

I have 7 shelves of fiction. I was using D6, then D20 for shelf, but finally bought D7. Such a strange shape.

Shop keeper said he would have used D8. Sir, you're making a sale.

I am attempting to get through my epic backlog of comics by assigning myself one comic or chapter of manga per day. Last week was a series about a fashion school serial killer. This week is an adorable camping manga.

Dare I say it's going well?
