The tank lever snapped off on one of the toilets and the kids didn't tell me so I guess I'm headed to the hardware store tomorrow to play plumber. This "other duties as assigned" thing at work is creeping into my home life ☹️

Apparently my battery-powered carbon monoxide alarm that was installed by the alarm company is connected through Bluetooth and changing the battery after seeing a low-battery warning triggered an alert. The trio of firefighters were just as stumped as I was and anyway, that's why I need a shower🍺
