If I may add a few things: if mom is infected with HBV, the baby has a 90%chance of being infected at birth. So vax us needed unless you want a chronically ill child with a virus that HAS NO CURE. Yes, treatment. But no cure. Vax will reduce the risk of transmission to 10% in majority of cases👇

If mom is infected, she has no cure, only treatment. If baby does not finish the series? Then if that child is exposed to infected body fluids and/or becomes sexually activ- there is a high risk of infection. That child may (75%) or may not (25%) shake off the infection if healthy. Pick one.
