I’ve had great success using Perusall for collaborative annotations. Students were mixed in liking/disliking it, but there was consensus about its positive impact.

I love MFA Boston's relatively new Center for Netherlandish Art because they don't shy away from the history of Dutch slavery and colonialism.

For example, the gallery of still-lifes has map & ledgers of the Atlantic trade routes and ugly truth of the sweets and "exotic" fruits in the paintings.
