🔴 The dairy and beef industries are more intertwined than ever: 52% of the UK's beef herd originates from the dairy industry
🔴 Instead of fixing stressful farm environments, practices like tail docking are used to "manage" behavioural problems. High-impact solutions like in-ovo sexing, already exist

🔴 A lack of transparency, with some practices not even properly recorded, leaving their actual prevalence unknown

The fortification of foods with micronutrients is an easy public health win that would especially benefit vegans and vegetarians... This means more processing, not less. And that’s not a bad thing."
