Trump is looking for more quid pro quo deals. He is absolutely the most corrupt person ever elected to the Oval Office. Everything he does is transactional, and it has to benefit Trump in some way, shape or form. While we suffer under the weight of his tariffs, he gets richer, at our expense.

Love her music. I have been listening to her for several years and “Carol of the Bells” is fantastic.

I think for someone who has had a stutter all his life, President Biden does extremely well when he speaks. His occasional stumble over a word has to be taken in context. President Biden has to work very hard NOT to stutter. Trump stumbles when speaking, a lot, and he doesn’t have a stutter issue.

The only qualification is a total loyalty to Trump, all others, who might be interested in applying the law fairly, need not apply. You must be willing to publicly bend the knee and pledge allegiance to Trump. The Constitution be damned.

I am surprised that Trump hasn’t revoked his pardon of Cuellar and his wife. Since Cuellar won’t switch parties, or at least kiss the ring and bend the knee, I fully expected Trump to immediately revoke the pardon and let Cuellar go to jail.

The problem is, Trump is not a president. If he were, he would be trying to bring the country together, his actions would be for all Americans. Trump actions are only to enrich himself and his wealthy donors. He does are about the American people, so, no, he is not a president. That is the problem.

She looks like she is trying to inch her way out of the room. I can’t say I could blame her, if that is what she is trying to do. My biggest question is, how much of a donation did the “honorees” make to Trump’s “library” fund in order to get their Kennedy Center Honors? Asking for a friend.
December 8, 2025 at 10:04 AM
This just to show, one more time, how transactional Trump is. If he does something for anyone else, he expects something in return. He expects you to, at the very least, to kiss the ring and bend the knee as a show of loyalty to him and him alone. How very predictable he is.

Even if Trump’s supposed plan were remotely possible, we would still be paying taxes, it would just be called tariffs instead of income taxes. The orange guy still won’t admit that we, the American consumers are the ones paying the tariffs, and right now they still wouldn’t cover the budget.

I agree wholeheartedly, I can’t imagine that the founders would have even thought to put restrictions on where people came from when setting up our government and laws. Trump is just a racist and vindictive person, who only thinks in the here and now. He cares nothing about the future.

I believe the numbers that Trump keeps spouting off are for what is called “unrefined” gasoline, which is not ready for use in vehicles. It is a number that oil/refineries use as they track the pricing of crude through the refining process to finished product, much like other manufacturers do.

This will kill people. RFK Jr. is old enough to remember having these diseases, or at least knowing some who did. These “childhood” diseases can do permanent damage and yes, they can kill. I am one of those with permanent damage from chicken pox. Others weren’t as lucky as I am. This is bad policy!!
December 6, 2025 at 7:57 PM
How many kids and others has RFK Jr. been responsible for killing? How many was it in the Philippines that he convinced not to get the measles vaccine? How many died? RFK Jr. is a menace to everyone because of his silly and unproven policies. Of course, he had the very vaccines he now wants to ban.

They are just throwing Trump a shiny bauble and praising him, knowing that they can get whatever they want from him, like maybe having him call off ICE for a little while so they can play their games and go home without the worry of ICE messing things up. Just my opinion.
December 6, 2025 at 7:41 PM
Who is he trying to kid? The only thing of consequence that they have passed is the big ugly bill and the law saying the grand jury transcripts from the Epstein investigations should also be released along with the #EpsteinFiles that we still haven’t seen. So productive. Trump’s EO’s don’t count.
December 6, 2025 at 7:37 PM
This strategy will work too, the orange guy can be bought with a shiny bauble, especially if you paint it gold, he likes that color. I hope he continues to stop all these wars that keep popping up though, even with his soccer peace prize. He is such a buffoon, and he is dragging us down with him.

They are just trying to justify the murder of those on these boats. These are not war crimes, we are not in an armed conflict with the countries of origin for these boats. It is outright murder, pure and simple. Besides, the fentanyl problem doesn’t come from South America, it comes through Mexico.

This would really benefit him and his rich “friends”, if he really has any. He says the tariff revenue, paid by other countries (wink wink) could replace the income tax revenue. So basically, the tariffs would become a national sales tax to replace income tax. The rich get off easily with this plan.
December 6, 2025 at 1:46 PM
We have already seen news reports of “pretend” ICE agents going after people. When you get to wear a mask and no visible ID, then you should refuse these “orders” because we can’t be sure who is actually ICE or who isn’t. This is Trump’s world, create fear and chaos.
December 6, 2025 at 1:42 PM
As we have been seeing, a president who is not held accountable to the law of the land will only become a dictator wannabe, they will plunder the nation and ruin it financially and make it a laughingstock on the world stage, all because SCOTUS gave him immunity and he is pushing the limits.

I remember a winter in northern New Mexico back in 1970/1971 where the temperature dipped to -45 degrees F at North with a daytime high of -12degrees F. It stayed this way for about a week with clear blue skies and no clouds to be seen.
December 6, 2025 at 1:27 PM
This is what Trump thrives on, creating chaos. If he can keep us fighting his created culture wars, it gives him more opportunities to plunder our nation and sell his influence to the highest bidder. His chaos inducing strategy is just helping him get richer with all the grifting he is doing.

I would love it if just once Trump would clarify his statement about gasoline prices. Which state or states are seeing that kind of price on gas? Which prices are coming down and by how much? A few cents is not what I would call “prices are coming down”. Prices are still going up due to his tariffs.
