I never owned a multi-volume encyclopedia, but the library I worked for had them right up until the time I retired, so I will say zero. And I still own an ink-and-paper dictionary, it is here within arm's reach, and I pre-ordered the Merriam-Websters Collegiate, 12th ed.

On the plus side, the White Sox and the Rockies have both had 3 consecutive 100 loss seasons. Combined records during those seasons:

The Rockies ended the season with the worst record in MLB. The Chicago White Sox had the 2nd worst record - but still finished 17 games better than the Rockies.
