Umpteenth example that the ultra-rich steering the US's current regime and Russia share the same objective in undermining the EU. Trump and his cronies want to pillage individual markets, whilst Russia just wants to pillage.

Want to hear my theory of theories? Theories are a form of knowledge transfer: knowledge that has been acquired in one case can be applied to another. But the problem is that you need to be sure that the different cases are similar in all relevant aspects and that’s where use of theory can go wrong.

We saw his twisted history TV interview in India ystdy:-

Interviewer: “Can you talk about your meeting with Witkoff?”

Putin: “I doubt it would interest you to hear about it, as it lasted 5 hours. Frankly, even I grew weary of it”

He’s cheerfully taking the US for a ride, openly mocking them now..

Joined around 1000 people yesterday evening to listen to Stephen Pinker deliver The Orwell Lecture 2025, a fascinating and entertaining lecture. Heartening to see a capacity crowd on a cold November evening and see the diversity of the audience.

If @aftynbehn.bsky.social pulls off a victory in this heavily gerrymandered, Trump +22 district, it would be the biggest upset in memory. Trump would have a complete meltdown, and it would send chills down the spines of Republicans from coast to coast.

Let’s do this, Tennessee! 💙 #TN07
TODAY IS THE DAY!

GET OUT AND VOTE. Polls are open 7 AM - 7 PM

Ukrainian soldiers call Trump‑backed peace plan a sheer capitulation. “It’s not a plan, it’s surrender,” one frontline sergeant said. Giving up Donetsk and other regions they still hold is unacceptable. Peace for them means defending their land, not trading it.

Not coincidentally this is a pretty good list of Most Important Companies to Unionize.
The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."
