They’re part and parcel of the right-wing movement to steal our democracy. They do the dirty work that elected politicians couldn’t get away with (like Citizens United and Dobbs). The American people don’t want their authoritarianism, so they have to use the Court.

I would also support 18 year term limits to ensure each president gets two appointments and lower the political stakes of each nomination fight.

I’m open to Court expansion. My priority would be jurisdiction stripping, expanding the lower courts, and overturning egregious statutory decisions like Loper Bright and Shelby County.

Accountability after this administration ends is the only solution. We must prosecute these crimes to prevent future lawlessness.
