Unfortunately the Peace rose bud won't bloom in time for my birthday tomorrow. Very disappointed 😁 my childhood memory is that I always got a cut Peace rose from the gardenfor my birthday. The timing is off with this new bush. Oh well. At least the Be My Sunshine rose is still blooming

I moved the Peace rose slightly so it gets some afternoon sun at least. Incredibly enough the rose is still hanging on, and the small new bud is fighting..
