Yep. Same idea applies to health coverage. Gov't covers everyone at a base level (MFA (see also NHS in the UK)), you want bells and whistles? Fine, you go buy an add-on policy. You know, like most civilized countries have.

Meh, have private schools. But the kids have to go to public school too. You want Richie Rich Jr. to have that private school label on their college application? That's cool, they can go to private school in the afternoon *after* public school lets out. Same for home schooling.

He was unparalleled for scathing satire regarding our *gestures broadly* everything. The Colour of Magic is the first book.

The best Thanksgiving was the one The Spouse and I cooked, at his mother's house. For the first time, the food was great, we got lots of compliments, and more importantly ZERO leftovers. Of *anything*. She already hated me, I just gave her a new excuse. LMAOOOOOO fuck you, lady.
