Complex relationships always lead down to a path that has its problems. During this time period, Jacobi and this girl named Lenora started to fall for each other whenever they met during their school hours. Soon after, they went into a relationship. Although, the reason for why she wanted him wasn’t completely what he first thought. Lenora, unknowingly to everyone’s knowledge, is actually a vampire who feeds on blood. Since Jacobi’s blood is radioactive, it serves more as a drug to Lenora, making her fall even more head over heels for him. The big issue, putting that to the side, is that she’s being hunted by Blade the vampire slayer. And when Midnight Spider finds this out at the wrong time, he enters a fight with Blade to which he loses quite fast because Blade is both faster and more experienced. Subsequent to these events, Jacobi makes a new suit that will be able to take on Blade. The goal isn’t to kill Blade, it’s just to take him down. Blade is a hero who kills vampires, sure, but not all vampires are straight up evil, and Jacobi won’t let him kill an innocent person. This suit features a fierce look, lenses that are able to track vampire body temperatures and adjust to focus his Spider-Sense on vampires, a reinforced spider-symbol for armor, and silver blades and cloaked brass knuckles that are powered by colloidal silver, and when powered up enough, can transform into a sword using nanotechnology.

This was originally made to eventually become a comic cover, with buildings in the background to make up the Synthwave city Midnight Spider lives in. However, I just didn’t like the way the pose came out or how the arms had to curl so much, so I scrapped it, until I come back or redo it anyways. I might redo this someday. But who knows? It’s all a matter of time!
