I went in blind. No reviews, no synopsis. I don't even remember why I got this book in the first place but it's one of the best books that I have read so far in 2025. I LOVED it!!! ✨

Most of us have been there. We let a relationship consume us to a point our goals and needs take a backseat, as we give priority to our significant others' needs. We want to set boundaries but have a difficult time saying no to them, out of fear you are going to lose them and they won't be a part

Series: All The King's Men (Book 1&2)
Author: Kennedy Ryan

I haven't read this series in its proper order. I started with *Queen Move* which is the 3rd book of the series, followed by the 2nd one *The Rebel King* and lastly the 1st one of the series * The KingMaker*.

I love classics and I'm on a mission to read most of them before the year ends. *GONE WITH THE WIND* was a difficult read for me as a black person. It has taken me a month plus a few days to finish this book and that includes skipping some parts with explanations that were too lengthy.

I now understand why everyone always says this is a must read and if you were to die having read only one book, let that book be *The Alchemist*.

I almost went on a slump because of this book. It was really fast paced. There was no build up into the character's relationship. One minute they meet, the next minute they are together. I haven't read ACOTAR and its reference in the book kept throwing me off.

Four dates, one kiss and break up, all to break a curse and find their happily ever after.

The book was tear-jerking. The blossoming of the female character was beautiful to experience. The explanations were too long and it could get pretty tedious but overall it was a fun read.

I laughed for almost 10 minutes, when Jennette was explaining how at the age of two she was singing jingle bells while her mom was hospitalised. Her mom didn't like the fact she was upbeat at such a time and I just couldn't get past that scene. It was so funny.

YOURS TRULY is such a fun book. The interaction between Briana and Jacob will get you smiling like a fool, giggling and kicking your feet. It was a fun experience.

"Failing to keep self-promises is one of the reasons so many of us don’t love ourselves. Not following through on what we tell ourselves we’ll do so destroys our sense of personal worth and dissolves our self-esteem Keep behaving like that and the unconscious part of you will begin to believe you...

The first time I was introduced to Akwaeke Emezi was through The daily Show hosted by Trevor Noah and they got to discuss their books, both "You made a fool of death with your beauty" and "Dear Senthuran."

If you are a history buff and you've read the *Lord of the rings* and called it a day, then you are missing out on so much information. If you've always wondered what's the history and ancestry of *Lord of the rings*, how did everything come to be?

I'm done reading*The Lord of The Rings* trilogy and now I'm going back to read the books that were later on released by Christopher Tolkien, still related to *The Lord of The Rings.*

The Two Towers. The adventure keeps on getting better and better. What I liked most about *The Two Towers*, after the company fell apart and went different ways, each troop gets its own adventure instead of revolving around the "Ring bearer'.

When it comes to reading*The Lord of the Rings*, I must admit I'm late to the party. I also believe books choose you when you are ready for them, and this time, I was ready for an adventure hence*The Lord of the Rings.*

Happy 2025!!

I started the year by reading the perks of being a wallflower. I picked the book blindly and to be honest I'm glad I did. It has given me courage to do what I want for the rest of the year.

PN: I hope all the dreams you have for 2025 come true.

Life's too short by Abby Jimenez is the kind of book that makes you want to live better, do better and live each day as if it was your last because guess what? It might as well be.

I just finished reading this book and while reading it kept reminding me of "One hundred years of solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez. Simply stunning 👌
